Equity Analysis

Through the analysis of existing conditions in the County the Team identified several low income communities that the County will proactively target for investment. The area outlined on the map is our equity area. The future land use plan was compared with the Trend Scenario development patterns to measure its performance in these communities

Our measures include:

  • Amount of development in low-income communities
  • Amount of development in minority communities
  • Amount of development in struggling school districts

As shown in the charts below, the Future Land Use Plan performs much better than the trend and creates more opportunities for the underserved communities in our equity areas.
